For the fourth year, AAAI is partnering with IndyParks and Garfield Park to bring Asia to Indianapolis, Saturday, June 4th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.. The event features ethnic dance and music, colorful costumes, Asian cuisine, art and cultural displays, Asian-related businesses, and civic groups. Asian Fest is a unique cultural asset for Indianapolis that serves to increase the cultural fluency of the citizens of central Indiana relating to Asian culture and traditions. Bring your appetite to sample delicious Asian cuisines from local restaurants. Enjoy traditional Asian music and dance presented throughout the day. Stroll through the Garfield Arts Center to see Asian art - both old and new - on display. See Anime - popular Japanese original animation, visit McDonalds Family Pavilion, and children can also take part in Asian-themed activities. Admission is free. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. We also welcome non-profit, corporate and business vendors.
