People from an increasingly broad spectrum of backgrounds and nationalities are calling Central Indiana their "home", making it a richer, more dynamic place to live. In celebration of the growing diversity in our community, AAAI is proud to present the tenth annual Race for All Races on Saturday, September 22nd at the Indiana State Museum/Canal in downtown Indianapolis.
The Race for All Races is a family-friendly 5K Run/Walk and a 1-Mile Family Walk that brings people of all different races and backgrounds together. We invite you to join us in supporting diversity. Form a team of walkers and runners with your family, friends, co-workers and neighbors. A portion of the proceeds from the Race will fund high school student scholarships. So far, AAAI has awarded more than 100 scholarships totaling more than $60,000 to deserving students.
An amazing group of corporate and community sponsors have stepped up this year to support the Race for all Races. They clearly believe in supporting diversity in our community and AAAI's work to bring people together. Our sponsors are: PNC Bank, Barnes and Thornburg, Telamon Corporation, BioStorage Technologies, Vesta Pharma, Accenture, WISH-TV 8, Sikh Satang of Indianapolis, Bolo/Row Printing, and Runners Forum.
The Opening Ceremony is at 8:45 a.m. The 5K Run/Walk begins at 9 a.m. and the 1-Mile Family Walk starts at 9:05 a.m. Register for the Race online at www.tuxbro.com For more information, please contact Asian American Alliance, Inc. at 317-627-2010 or aaaiemail@gmail.com
